You are a mid-level manager at Tea Essence, a high-quality tea producer and supplier who employees 50 people. The teas your firm sells are organic, fair trade, and come from all over the world. Tea Essence sells green, black, white, and herbal blends with exotic flavorings. The product is sold in tea and coffee shops and is carried by several upscale food markets. Quite frankly, the product is delicious.
Unfortunately, the pandemic has been difficult for the company. Sales have stagnated, employees were laid off, and those who remain work very hard. Upper management has taken note of the lack of morale among the workers. Tea Essence used to be a “Great Place to Work” as listed in the local paper; however, the last several years have taken its toll. Unfortunately, it is another year without raises, but senior management has decided to try to boost morale by increasing motivation among the workers. You have been asked to deliver a report (written as a business report) outlining ten (10) things the company can do to get the employees on track again. You have also been given a $25,000 budget to fund some of those ideas.
The report should contain the 10 things you have chosen with a strong rationale as to why you think they are important. You should consider free or low-cost ideas; however, there is the small budget of $25,000 which you need to spend. In addition to the explanation for each suggestion, outline a cost associated with the idea or implementation. You will need to do research to investigate the costs of benefits or programs. You will need five (5) references for this paper; therefore, do not forget to source (in-text citations) and bibliography. The report should be not short.
