York Region Education Services (YRES) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational services to the York Region and beyond (York Region Education Services, n.d.). YRES offers a safe and supportive environment for York Region students, inspiring, motivating, and setting the foundation for personal growth. YRES partners with school boards, libraries, and educational companies across York Region to provide access to the best programs possible for students, adults, and seniors (York Region Education Services, n.d.).

The City of Markham and YSpace support YRES by connecting them with community partners and promoting programs across the city centers and libraries. For families affected by developmental disabilities, Gifted People programs (GPS) offers YRES training, resources, support, and respite programs. For interactive language learning and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) programs, U+ Education connects YRES with trained instructors (York Region Education Services, n.d.). All programs offered by YRES are free of cost (zero-cost) (York Region Education Services, n.d.). If someone needs private tutoring and exceptional support, they can contact YRES, and they will discuss learning plans tailored to their needs (York Region Education Services, n.d.). People are welcome to participate in any programs listed on the YRES website, even those outside the York Region.

From July to August, YRES offers six weeks of summer camp programming for ages 5-12, with extended hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (York Region Education Services, n.d.). The camp includes outdoor physical activities, active and quiet games, sports, arts and crafts, music, and more. Through demanding activities, exploration, and opportunities to develop their social skills, creativity, and imagination, the camp offers kids a fully immersive and playful experience. The children will have fun all day long.

YRES is committed to providing high-quality educational services to the York Region and beyond through partnerships, community support, and free programs. Their summer camp provides children with a fun and educational experience, including various activities to develop their physical, social, and creative skills.
