The study by Chien, Sun, Yang, Zheng, and Li B. (2020) caught my attention and I decided to further examine it. This study chose social entrepreneurship practitioners (university students) in Chinese university innovation organizations as the research objects and used a questionnaire survey method to collect data from the innovation teams of universities in 19 cities throughout China. First, one of the most well-known social entrepreneurship groups is College Students’ Social Entrepreneurship. It encourages entrepreneurship and gives students training in sustainability. It is most like entrepreneurial organizations in the real world. As a result, among its members, the mechanisms of entrepreneurship can be adequately examined. Second, social entrepreneurship among university students is a separate development initiative that is not meant to serve general commercial entrepreneurship objectives. Such entrepreneurial intentions are more pervasive, and academics and teachers can enhance entrepreneurial education by drawing on pertinent research findings. The research findings can also be applied to increase the variety of practice approaches. Third, the Humanities and Social Sciences Department of Shantou University conducted research on which this study was based, with the help of China College Students’ Social Entrepreneurship. There were survey resources available, and the sample was diverse. As a result, the data generated by this innovative project may more accurately reflect how emotional competence and entrepreneurial self-efficacy affect entrepreneurial intention.

Briefly provide the following to continue the research:

Name and define by type of an organization that can be used for a research project with this topic?
What is the location of the organization?
Are you a member of the organization? Or do you know anyone associated?
Roughly how many personnel within the organization would meet the research project requirements?
How many personnel would have to be planned to survey, conduct a focus group, etc.?

2b. Recruitment of sample participants should be considered in advance. Respond to and discuss the following questions:

How would you plan to recruit your participants?
How will you administer your survey instrument and or conduct qualitative procedures, e.g., mail, email, in-person, phone, teleconference, etc.?
How will you address any privacy issues or concerns?

2c. Based on the goal of your research project, identifying demographic information is very important.

Review your selected article to review the demographics of the sample population. Will you use the same demographics, similar or different.  State at least 5 demographics applicable to your research project and briefly state the associated impact of those demographics in your research project.

2d. Now that you have identified the characteristics of your prospective population sample, discuss any challenges you anticipate in recruiting the population within the organization you selected for your research project.
