Selling to the Bottom of the Pyramid PPT Slides
Assume that you are an employee of an up-and-coming Nike competitor, TopTennies, that has been both founded and funded by three top athletes from different sports. Besides selling high priced sports shoes to the general American market, TopTennies also licenses its gear to several sports teams.
The founders have just decided that they want to produce shoes for the BOP market. They have asked that you put together a brief presentation for them that addresses any concerns they should have about selling to the bottom of the pyramid. They are most concerned about any ethical issues that might tarnish the reputation of TopTennies.
In prepping for this ppt, you will want to review companies like Nike and Nestle to see what types of issues and ethical concerns these companies have raised in selling to the BOP market.
These founders have very little time, so they want you to summarize your findings in a very brief ppt. You should have a cover slide, one slide that lists any potential ethical concerns you might have for them, and then 2-3 slides that review ethical issues of specific companies (a slide about Nike and a slide about another company, for example). Your final slide should be your resources slide.
Maximum 6 slides, including your cover slide and resources slide.
