Q. Undertake continuous improvement for your sustainability policy and procedures. This could be in the form of:

Amendments to existing policy/procedure documents
Addition of new procedures or processes

 

 

Procedures are below:

 

1- Safe Working Conditions Procedure

The purpose of this policy is to ensure that all Elevate Social employees work in a secure and healthy environment. The safe working conditions procedure gives staff directions on how work is to be carried out safely at Elevate Social

With locating potential risks in the workplace and putting in place the necessary safety precautions to prevent mishaps and injuries. This ensures Elevate Social can avoid the unsafe workspace and practices.
 To report safety issues, first report to your supervisor. The supervisor can fix the issue or take it higher to be resolved with their manager. Secondly, an employee can submit a written report. From there the HR team and managers will consult with the staff member or update them on the status of the unsafe problem.

This procedure applies to every team member of Elevate Social, including all stakeholders who come to the office or the site where we are completing our work practises. 

 

2- Respectful and Inclusive culture procedure

 

The purpose of this policy is to support an inclusive and respectful workplace environment for all Elevate Social employees. Making sure the culture is fair, supportive and respectful. It recognizes,values, notices differences in staff, ability, experience and perspective

it will be evaluated every two years.

This policy emphasizes eliminating workplace discrimination, harassment, and bullying as well as encouraging a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone is appreciated and supported. 

All stakeholders need to accept everyone for who they are and not discriminate, open communication on brakes is encouraged as Elevate Social has a great staff culture.

This procedure is firmly applied at the higher bodies in the company, the Ceo and all supervisors/ managers as they set the example for others. Everyone in the business has to follow this procedure also. 
 

3- Emissions reduction 

The purpose of this procedure is to reduce emissions as Elevate Social should ensure that all suppliers and contractors used in the business operate ethically and fairly. 

Including making a clear and bold commitment to reducing carbon emissions, this gives Elevate Social a rise to greater efficiency and exposure as companies find ways to improve processes, and work with sustainable companies

This can be achieved by having a vetting process for suppliers and contractors and by using local suppliers wherever possible.

Remote working off employees is encourages to reduce the commuting. Clients also have the option which is soken on often to consider remote meetings instead of in person meetings.

Supplies and our customers who we manage are meant to be very sustainable and reduce emissions, we will regularly review suppliers and ensure they adhere to sustainable practices
