PEER#1

Introduction- The business I plan to create is a food business that will sell lots of different foods. For example, they will sell soul food, have a lot of original dishes, baked goods, and sweets and maybe add something different to the menu in the future.

Body- I would like to create new sauces and drinks for my business. I want to see satisfaction from my customers as they try dishes and drinks that they never had before. My short-term goal is to start catering to people’s businesses. For example parties, sports events for the summer, etc.  My medium-term goal is to sell my dishes on door dash and other food platforms to expand the reach of my clients. My long-term goal is to open up a physical store that will be out in the world where people can come and sit down and eat. I want them to enjoy the food while enjoying themselves with friends and family. The population I would like to serve is of all ages and all kinds of people.

Conclusion- I am willing to sacrifice my time and money for my business. My family will help me get the ball rolling and they will also play a roll in the business and help me get things started.

PEER #2

For the past 5 years, I have been working alongside my dad in our family company. We provide all kinds of “handyman” services, construction, and my personal favorite renovations. Bringing an idea to life has been one of my latest obsessions. Being able to turn a simple kitchen into a completely new and modern kitchen is very satisfying. Now it is my turn to step up into my dad’s position and bring that excitement to people’s faces after a simple thought of a new bathroom or kitchen becomes a reality.

A renovation is like a new beginning and everyone deserves and enjoys it. I plan to become a business partner with my dad to be able to have these connections and experience firsthand. Learn as much as I can to later on in the future fully take over or branch out to my own remolding company. I plan to also expand to neighboring states, like Virginia, D.C., and Delaware. As of now we only work in Maryland but expanding will eventually make our company grow more. Our target population has no limits, from homeowners to office owners, renovations are ideal for anyone anywhere.

Personally, I’m willing to make as many sacrifices as needed. I have already sacrificed my money and time and I will easily be willing to do it again in order to achieve the goal I have planned. One thing I won’t sacrifice is family. I believe there is always a time for both work and family and it will be wrong to choose one over the other, family can actually be your motive to succeed and a huge help to your future goals.
