As more people opt for plant-based diets, offering a vegan or vegetarian option would be wise for Chick-fil-A. Appealing to a broader range of customers who may not eat meat would align with Chick-fil-A’s mission to serve the highest quality food possible.

            A vegan or vegetarian option would help the company stay competitive with other fast-food chains that have introduced plant-based alternatives, such as Burger King and McDonald’s. Furthermore, it would demonstrate that Chick-fil-A is committed to sustainability and the environment, as plant-based diets have been shown to have a smaller carbon footprint than meat-based diets.

Customers 

            Chick-fil-A has both internal and external customers. By understanding the needs and preferences of internal and external customers, Chick-fil-A can  positive work environment for its employees and provide high customer service to its external customers.

Internal customers of Chick-fil-A because it is a privately-owned business, its internal customers are its frontline employees, franchise owners, operations, development, marketing, and other corporate employees and are a critical part of Chick-fil-A. The company is committed to providing a positive work environment for its employees, and it has been recognized as one of the best places to work in the United States. By investing in its employees, Chick-fil-A can provide high customer service to its external customers.

External customers are the people who visit Chick-fil-A restaurants to purchase food. These customers come from all walks of life and have different preferences and needs when it comes to food. Chick-fil-A aims to serve these customers by offering high-quality food and a remarkable customer experience. This is reflected in the company’s mission statement: “serve the highest quality food most quickly and efficiently possible while giving every customer a remarkable experience” (Chick-fil-A, 2021).

Value Add

            The value that employees and other stakeholders add to Chick-fil-A is critical to the company’s success in achieving its mission. The mission is to “serve the highest quality food most quickly and efficiently possible while giving every customer a remarkable experience” (Chick-fil-A, 2021)

As an operations manager for Chick-fil-A, the company relies on its employees’ hard work and dedication. By providing a positive work environment and investing in employee training, Chick-fil-A can  team of motivated employees committed to delivering high customer service. Chick-fil-A values its relationships with employees, suppliers, franchisees, and other stakeholders. By working collaboratively with these groups, Chick-fil-A can ensure that its products are of the highest quality and that its restaurants are operated efficiently.

Role of Christianity

            Chick-fil-A is a private company whose religious beliefs are not imposed on customers or employees. The company’s commitment to its Christian values is essential to its identity and culture. A positive work environment for its employees, serving high-quality food, and giving back to the community.

Christianity plays a significant role in Chick-fil-A’s corporate culture and values. S. Truett Cathy, a devout Southern Baptist, founded the company. Cathy believed in the importance of the Sabbath day and his desire to honor God. Chick-fil-A is closed on Sundays to allow employees to spend time with their families and attend church. He believed that biblical principles and values should guide his business, and this philosophy continues to be a significant part of the company’s culture. Furthermore, Chick-fil-A’s corporate purpose is to “glorify God by being a faithful steward of all entrusted to us and to influence all who come into contact with Chick-fil-A positively” (S.
