It is commonly argued that complex and sophisticated technologies have created problems for society because they have outstripped the human ability to control them; the naked ape is not able to act responsibly with the god-like powers of advanced technologies. Is this a fair assessment or not, and why

This is a fair assessment. The rate of technological advancement has far outpaced the human capacity to properly understand and control these technologies. This means that humans are often unable to anticipate or even comprehend the implications of new technologies until it is too late. An example of this is ChatGPT, a neural network that has been programmed to engage in conversations with humans. “ChatGPT shows that artificial intelligence has gotten incredibly advanced — and that it is something we should all be worried about” according to Elon Musk (2023).

The potential implications of such advanced AI technologies should not be taken lightly. Although these technologies may have immense potential for improving the lives of humans, they also pose a number of risks. There currently are no rules or regulations governing the development of AI, which could potentially result in privacy and security issues if left unchecked. (Browne, 2023)

In my opinion, AI is a complex and sophisticated technology that can create problems for society because they have outstripped the human ability to control them However, it is also important to note that technology can have a positive impact on society as well. Advanced technologies can help us understand the world around us better and lead to solutions for some of our most pressing problems if used responsibly. It is up to individuals, communities, and governments to ensure that these technologies are used for the benefit of everyone. With effective regulation and oversight, technology can be beneficial and pose minimal risks to society.

According to the modern era, it is not complex and sophisticated technologies have created problems for society due to outstripped the human capacity to control them. Nowadays, everybody wants to do work in technological way which helps them to save their time. For example- most of the students using quilbolt, Course hero, Chegg and ChatGTP for their assignments because they do not have time for their studies as a student a lot of things to do like work, studies, paying rent, groceries, tuitions fees. Therefore, it is a best source for students.

On other hand, it is true that technologies created a lot of issues in human’s life like god-like powers. According to the article (Timberlake, 2019) , Singularity is the future vision and technology advances which opposite the dust and noise of life like to act as a beacon of at times excitement but uncertainty. AI has learned constrained by the real world view which has been defined. AI cannot train itself on the information which is hidden, as the real world scenarios not all relevant information is available.

Obviously, radical innovations have already altered how humans coexist. Cities first appeared between 5,000 and 10,000 years ago, which resulted in a less rural lifestyle and a higher population density. Both personally and collectively, we have evolved for example, we may have developed a resistance to infection made more likely by these new circumstances. The development of modern technologies like the printing press, telephone, and internet has fundamentally changed how humans communicate and retain information. But the potential impact of AI on humanity might be considerably greater. Machines may alter how loving, friendly, or kind we are – not just in our direct contact with the machines in issue, but also in our relationships – especially because they are meant to appear and act like humans and to infiltrate deep into our lives. one of them, with another (Christakis, 2019).

There are several definitions of authenticity. Being honest with yourself is a common definition for the quality of authenticity. Because they remain faithful to who they are, people with mechanical parts are still regarded as human beings at the same time are said to no longer be truly human instead, they are cyborgs, not like the Robocop or the Terminator but when an organism that has external elements given to it to enable it to adapt to different settings. This quote is from a 1960 space flight article because, when you think about it, space is rather awkward. There shouldn’t be anyone there. However, people are curious and like to add stuff to their bodies so they may one day travel to the Alps and then the next day switch into a fish in the sea (Case, 2010). Once we have additional components such as robot kind of features in us, we are no longer true humans with the human ability as the Technology which is in us can do what a human can barely think of.

Overall, humans lack the time to acquire comparable intrinsic skills to coexist with robots. Therefore, we must take action to make sure they can coexist peacefully with us. We may need a new social contract, this time with machines rather than other people, as AI affects more and more aspects of our life. Therefore, humans with any additional mechanical components such as AI, could not be considered as true humans.
