Growing the Business
Scenario: You recently applied for a marketing management position for a company you would like to work for in the future. You did a phenomenal job during the first two interviews. Your final task is to meet with the CEO for the final interview. The CEO would like you to recommend product market growth strategies for this company instead of a traditional interview. For Part 1, your job is to create a PowerPoint presentation with your recommendations.

Part 1: Growing the Business
Decide on a company you would like to work for in the future. Provide a brief background on this organization.
Recommend four new growth strategies using the product-market growth framework for the desired company.
Propose a possible merger or acquisition strategy for the desired company.
Decide how you will manage customer satisfaction and build customer loyalty for the desired company you would like to work with in the future.
Propose a new global market strategy for the desired company via the five modes of entry into a foreign market.
Provide a minimum 7- to 9-slide audio-visual presentation with additional title and reference slides that should look and sound professional. You will be graded on your professional manner and appropriate communication skills. Then continue on to complete Part 2.
Your presentation must include the following:
Speak loudly enough to be heard; varying voice pitch and volume to ensure audience interest and attention.
Pronounce words correctly and enunciate clearly.
Provide 5-6 bullet points per slide with the notes explaining those points and providing researched support.
Each slide has professionally written notes substantiated with research.
Additional title and reference slides for your presentation.
Apply the current APA format and citation style to in-text citations and references with no errors.
Resources are from reliable and/or scholarly sources.

Part 2: The Negotiation
You have just submitted your presentation to the potential employer who now offers you the job. However, the salary is too low in your opinion.
Decide on the salary you will negotiate with this potential employer since you want the job.
What if the employer is not amenable to raising the salary per your request, how else might you negotiate? Explain.
Explain how your counter-offer would allow for a win-win situation.
Copy the three prompts above into a Word document and then submit your original answers to those questions in a minimum total of 250 words in a Microsoft® Word® document. Be sure to add a title page in the current APA format.
Submit Parts 1 and 2 (audio-visual presentation and Word document) to the Competency Assessment Dropbox.
