POSITION
Reports to: VP of Sales Latin America
Location: Coral Gables, FL
POSITION SUMMARY
This position oversees and will be responsible for all aspects of sales, merchandising, operations, and marketing of 20+ franchised boutiques within the Caribbean, Latin America and Cruise ships region
Incumbent will work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams as well as HQ retail and boutique teams in designing and implementing strategic regional plans, in compliance with corporate guidelines, in order to drive sales performance and enhance customer experience within the franchised Boutiques
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Retail network overview:
Design regional retail strategy and ensures objectives are reached within dedicated budget
Analyze network and propose openings, moves, renovations and closures as an ongoing process of maintaining a clean and economically viable network in accordance with the brand positioning
Manage in coordination with Sales, Marketing, Training and Boutique teams the Retail Template and Plans for each franchised boutique
Primary contact all region-specific retail related topics including visual merchandising, events, sales reporting (collecting and analyzing monthly report from each franchised boutique, sharing of best practices, store locator management,
Sales:
Create and maintain a proactive business plan focused on sales by constantly monitoring each franchised boutique sales performance, addressing issues (stock, staffing, ) and adjust to ensure boutique meets their annual sales goals
Establish and communicate clear monthly targets
Continuously motivate managerial staff to meet assigned targets
Coach teams on their CRM strategy & support activities to ensure programs are effectively implemented in each franchised boutique
Ensure customer service, brand representation, and product knowledge standards are effectively upheld in each store
Work with franchised boutique directors on a monthly basis to review performance, share best practices, and formulate new ways to increase business
Partner with Area Sales Manager to ensure appropriate assortment and stock levels within their respective accounts
Analyze KPIs on an on-going basis to identify trends and develop action plans to address issues and maximize sales opportunities
Operations:
Ensure appropriate franchised boutique maintenance, presentation, and organization in accordance with global retail guidelines
Immediately communicate information concerning corporate updates, initiatives etc. to franchise boutique teams
Work with Sales & Operations teams to ensure appropriate replenishment timeframes and product allocation by boutique (especially for new products launches, limited editions, boutique exclusives…)
Monitor every new franchise boutique opening and renovation project and be on-site during new store opening set-up.
PROFILE
Marketing:
Implement actions to enhance customer experience in each franchised boutique
Generate ideas for franchise boutique specific marketing and promotional activities and events and work with Marketing team to implement approved plans. Propose and monitor associated budget and evaluate ROI of each initiative.
Plan boutique events and in-store activations in collaboration with Marketing team and Boutique team. Coach the teams to ensure proper execution.
Ensures execution of effective merchandising strategies
Ensures presentation of all displays, fixtures and all visual areas are reflective of current visual direction
Human Resources:
Guides and assist franchised Boutiques in recruiting, developing and retaining the dedicated boutique teams ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner with qualified talent.
Partner with Trainer to ensure all new franchise boutique team members are fully on boarded and trained to the highest brand standards
Review talent succession plans and retention initiatives to mitigate turnover
Continually evaluate the performance of each boutique team and provide ongoing feedback and coaching
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Demonstrated ability to increase sales and build revenue and profitability
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies
Demonstrated experience with training, developing and retaining sales staff, preferably in franchise operations
Demonstrated ability to design practices, processes and procedures which facilitate managing remote locations
Demonstrated ability to deliver a strong brand message through all points of customer and team interaction
Must be fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese or French a plus
Open minded with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Expertise with the MS Office Suite – Excel, Power Point, Word
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to adeptly manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and follow-through
