The origin of the product first started when a student complimented my Mac book touch Bar, as
a Mac user I am not a fan of its OS but I was personally interested in just the touch bar. The fact
that it had one hidden future to skip Youtube advertisements I was immediately sold. But on the
other hand Microsoft was the best bang for the buck especially the surfacepro. Therefore the idea
came to me that there should be a product that connects to the devices port which is connected on
the top of the keyboard or the side of the laptop/surface tablet, in which it connects as a
removable SmartBar. Therefore it would also expose it remaining ports as if the smart bar was
designed for that specific model/Gen. The name was created by the group as they called the idea
Smart, & my last name is Bar so since it was created by me Smartbar was the way to go.
