Assignment:
o Review the “Stakeholder Analysis Resources” Folder on Blackboard
o Perform a Stakeholder Analysis (SA) on the recently discussed proposal to build a New
Browns Stadium, the topic of recent conversations in the news
o Using the SA tools and graphic included in the folder Stakeholder Analysis – Resources
o When analyzing this proposed initiative:
? Be thorough and detailed with gathering information. Use credible resources such
as local news outlets, Cleveland.com, Cleveland Browns Website, fan information
etc.,
? Be sure to examine alternatives to the project that may also be making headlines
such as other development projects or other efforts that are focused on
redevelopment of Cleveland’s Lakefront in and around the current stadium or
perhaps previous proposals
? Analyze how it will directly impact business, society, and/or government
? This analysis and project is not about being a sports fan but more about how
projects can impact and engage all aspects of business, society, and government.
? Use key concepts from the text to drive your analysis

DELIVERABLES:
Stakeholder Analysis (100 possible points)
o Executive Summary (25 possible points)
? Provide an executive summary. Must include your take on the proposal, one key
point to your analysis, and a “tease” to entice your reader to want to read more.
? Think of this as a 30,000 ft view of the initiative
? Set the stage for your analysis with any significant background information, road
map that brings us this point, and what the future looks like.
o Stakeholder Analysis (50 possible points)
? Identify Stakeholders [Stakeholder] – 5-6 for each type of stakeholder (primary and
secondary). Your stakeholder analysis for this assignment should include at least 10
different stakeholders. Include enough to portray a clear understanding of the
situation at hand. Rows can be added as necessary. (Editable word doc is posted on
blackboard).
? At least half of your identified stakeholders must be specific people, not general
groups of people. For example, Fans is general, CEO of the Browns is specific.
Define and Understand Stakeholders [Description] – Describe and define
and explain why they are a stakeholder.
o Primary – Direct stake in the situation/organization, intimately
involve with its success and failures. And most influential
o Secondary – may be influential and affect and effected by the
situation, however their stake is indirect or derived from the
primary stakeholders.
Define Type of Stakes [STAKE] – identify the stake in the value the
stakeholder has in the situation:
o An interest, A right, and/or Ownership
Define Stakeholder Influence [ROLE] – some stakeholders may have more
than one role, if multiple roles, identify their most influential by making it
bold:
o Make it happen, Lets it happen, Helps it happen, and/or Affected
by what happens
Define Stakeholder Attributes [ATTRIBUTE]:
o Power, Urgency, and/or Legitimacy
Define Stakeholder Management Strategy [APPROACH]:
o Strategic, Multifiduciary, and/or Synthesis
Identify Stakeholder Stakes Outcomes [OUTCOMES]
o Gain(s) and/or Loss(es)
o Overall Impacts (25 possible points)
Highlight the fiscal, economic, environmental, and cultural impacts of the
project in terms of “winners” and losers” and key stakeholders.
Exam any risks to moving forward or not moving forward with this project.

Discussion Board Forum 4 (50 possible points)
o Discussion Board Presentation (25 possible points)
? Produce a PowerPoint deck.
? Decks should be well thought out, designed to meet the needs of your audience, be
concise, topical, and engaging. The more creative and engaging, the better
? Must include at minimum 6 slides, maximum of 10.
Executive Summary (maximum 1 slide)
Stakeholder Analysis (4 slides minimum)
o 2 slides for primary stakeholders
o 2 slides for secondary stakeholders
o Additional slides can be used if it makes sense. Don’t over pack
your slides.
Over all Impacts (1 slide minimum, maximum of 2 slides)
? Do not write a paper and put it into PowerPoint form.
? A good deck should be bulleted with information that answers the questions on the
rubric and provides your reader with enough information to get the gist of what
you are conveying.
? Final Decks must be uploaded to appropriate discussion threads on Blackboard
Title the file as “InitiativeName_StudentName”
Only PowerPoint Files will be accepted. Any link to Downloads and/or
PDF will be deleted and considered void.
? Synopsis must be uploaded no later than 11:59 pm, Sunday. March 26, 2023
Any deck posted after that time, will be considered late not accepted.
o Discussion Board Engagement (25 possible points)
? Authors:
Monitor your post in the discussion thread. You are responsible to curate
the discussions and answer questions about your Northeast Ohio Initiative.
With your insight into this Northeast Initiative, answer and engage in the
discussion with your classmates.
? Engagement of Others:
Review and engage with at least 2 other original posts/presentations. You
are encouraged and it is highly suggested to look at all decks.
This is your opportunity to learn from others’ insight, what did they
discover and/or interpret differently from your own, the impacts, positive
and negative and what success looks like
Explore various stakeholders’ perspectives, exam their strengths and
weaknesses, etc.
Discussions can begin once the deck is posted.
