For the first article its quite shocking to realize how the bad weather has affected food production and their companies. The sriracha shortage is problematic and when it comes to shortages in raw materials you couldn’t predict it happening. Plus, they be running on limited supply for the production to continue. The second article states that Tupperware the food storage has shown signs of collapse. Now the situation there can be seen as trying to adapt to the current changes going in the world, but in the case of Tupperware they failed.

Third Assignment:-
After reading these articles this week, I think it’s a sign of a changing world. The world has begun to see increasingly chaotic weather patterns and weather events. Businesses who sell food products will have to adjust, and find different ways of growing crops. I believe that this will lead to more artificial synthesized food that is less nutritious than natural food. But that is just my opinion. The Tupperware parties also indicate a world that is different from our parents world. Today, most women work, and being a homemaker is less common. Dual income is needed to provide for a family. Women/homemakers don’t have time today to host plastic container parties. Salespeople today have negative reputations. The culture, climate, and climate of todays culture will all lead to changes in the business world, for better or for worse.

I find it pretty sad that two of the companies are leading to closure because of shortage and also people not buying there product. It also makes me feel nervous of how easily a business can come to a close that fast. As a person who’s interested in making my own business and trying to work my way up into a successful company is now become a little concerning for me. Knowing that theres a shortage on a product my business can fail and close. And also if there is competition (which probably will) and there product is better then mine then i wont be able to sell as well, leading to my downfall to my business. Having a business will be harder then I thought.
