Im doing my slides on a reference: Employee Expense Tracking System Proposal. Below is what I did in week 1

* For the purpose of keeping track of staff expenses, I will be putting up a business information system proposal. Through the use of this system, employees’ outings, travel expenses, meal prices, and other expenditures would be monitored for a logistics company

* Expensify, QuickBooks, and Xero are just a few examples of the many commercially available software programs that may be used with a system like this one. In addition to taking into account the price of the program, the system should be able to function properly on industry-standard computing platforms like Windows and Mac

* In addition, the technology that is now being used by these systems, such as cloud computing, databases, and web applications, will be studied

* It is essential to get the stakeholders’ input about the system’s needs that is being suggested. This involves determining the functional needs of the system, such as the capability to monitor employee costs and provide reports, among other things.

* The System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Rapid Application Development (RAD), Joint Application Development (JAD), and Prototyping are all examples of system development approaches that might be used for this project. Prototyping is also an option (RAD).

* When contemplating the new system, management should take into account the many different advantages that the new system will offer to the firm. These include greater efficacy in monitoring employee expenses, more precision in budgeting, and enhanced ability to make sound judgments

*In addition, the system has the potential to assist the company in accomplishing its operational and strategic objectives, such as lowering expenses and enhancing the level of pleasure experienced by customers
