Subject: Adopting an Employer Sponsored Child Care Program
As ABC Enterprise continues to grow so do our needs to improve our employment benefits
package. We have a goal to be industry technology field leaders so we become creative in
attracting quality and qualified individuals to our company.
In recent studies family-friendly packages have seen as a determining reason in getting
employee’s as well as decreasing the economic effect that other benefits such as worker
compensation bring to our bottom line.(Kluwer)
There is a need for affordable child for our employee’s and propose we fix an on-site child care
to aid in attracting and keeping the most qualified employee’s. Providing employee’s with cheap
solution to their child care needs will result in lots of benefits for both the company and the
employee’s. Goals of employee retention and increased productivity can be had by assisting our
employee’s meet their goals of affordable child care, more accessability to their child and limited
travel time to and from their time to their place of work. Less stress of the employee will produce
no days missed to sick time and less health care costs.
Enclosed you will find my recommendations based on the research I have gathered on this topic.
Thank you for taking the time to consider adopting an employer sponsored child care program at
ABC Enterprise I look forward to working on this project as we develop a successful program
that will benefit the company and the employee’s. Feel free to contact me with any questions you
may have.
