Consider the ethical dilemma of gender inequality issues found in nonprofit organizations and workplaces. 1. Please read pages 32 – 43 of Part 3 of the textbook: Ethical Duties (Link to external text: https://boisestate.pressbooks.pub/businessethics/chapter/what-is-an-ethical-framework/) and in a written response, please answer the following:

 

For the ethical dilemma of gender inequality issues found in nonprofit organizations and workplaces, please examine and reflect on each of the five ethical models, which are: (1) utilitarianism, (2) deontology, (3) virtue ethics, (4) Core values model, and (5) social contract theory. AND show how each of these ethical models relates to the ethical dilemma listed above. 

 

2. Please read page 56 of the course textbook: “What is the Zadek Civil Learning Model?” (Link to external text: https://boisestate.pressbooks.pub/businessethics/chapter/what-is-the-zadek-civil-learning-model/) And answer the following questions below as it applies to the ethical dilemma of gender inequality issues found in nonprofit organizations.

 

A. Consider the ethical dilemma of gender inequality issues found in nonprofit organizations and workplaces regarding unequal compensation and pay between genders. How would you categorize the disparity in pay at nonprofits according to the Zadek Civil Learning Model? 

B.  Please include a graphical version of the Zadek Civil Learning Graphic that represents your findings from part A.

B. What steps can nonprofit organizations, that struggle with gender inequality take to improve their ethical behaviors and  in turn making them go far beyond a moral minimum?

C. Now, consider female employees as stakeholders (who are being compensated less than their male coworkers). Please categorize them as either low or high power and interest. Comment on what this implies for how the company should treat those stakeholders.
